Evangel Coaching

At Evangel, we desire to see each individual reach their full potential in God's purposes for their life. We want to "serve you" by helping you to move forward, faster, in every area of your life. One way we can help encourage you in this process is through coaching! A coach's primary function is to help individuals move beyond their current situation (personally, professionally, and spiritually), by focusing on the present situation and discovering the path toward the future.

If you have a passion to move people forward in all that God has for them, we would love to add you to our team. We are always in need of more coaches! You must be certified through the training course, "501 Building Blocks of Coaching".

What is Coaching?

A coach's primary function is to help individuals move beyond their current situation (personally, professionally and spiritually), by focusing on the present situation and discovering the path toward the future.

A coach comes alongside a person to listen, encourage, and through careful observations ask powerful questions that empower the individual to find their own answers and direction to important life-giving and life-changing choices.

A coach is like a taxi driver. They put your destination first and are committed to getting you where you want to go and are willing to go at your pace.

A coach honors the person as the expert on their life and work.

What is the mission and purpose of Evangel Coaching?

The mission of Evangel's coaching ministry is to help people move forward, faster. Its purpose is to help people overcome obstacles and achieve God-given goals.

What is the vision of Evangel Coaching?

To fulfill God’s call for Evangel and its people to be “Here to Serve.”

How is the Coaching ministry at Evangel organized?

Coaching is utilized throughout the entire organizational structure of the ministry of Evangel. It is used for staff development, and assisting volunteer team leaders to reach their full potential. The Pastoral staff also uses coaching as a companion to pastoral counseling.

In the church body, coaching is used in discipleship: in growing a relationship with Christ; as a response to an altar call: prayer and coaching are offered to support and encourage forward motion.

Evangel's Coaching Ministry Team is made up of individuals whom have gone through the ICF certification classes sponsored through Coach Approach Ministries. Evangel's coaches are assigned individuals to coach by our Lead Pastor, Brian Tracy. Ongoing support, encouragement, and accountability are provided to the Coaching Ministry Team, through quarterly training meetings and small group Coach mentoring sessions.
